4.3 Acoustic Warning Signals Verification
There are two different buzzers on the machine. The first one (prestart) gives a 5-second
warning prior to an imminent move of the machinery. The second one is a pulsating auditory
signal that is activated as long as tracks move. Make sure that both these warning signals work
properly at all time.
4.4 Remote Control Battery Change
Two batteries are supplied with the remote. While one battery is being used for the remote, the
other one is on the battery charger, inside the machine control panel. To change the remote
battery, hold the remote face down. Push the battery on its centre and pull the battery end up.
Take the battery out and install it on the charger. Follow the same procedure to put the new
battery in. To take a battery out of the charger or to put it back in, follow the same steps as for
the remote.
Note: Always switched off the remote control when changing the battery, otherwise an
electrical strike from the connection of a fully charged battery could blow the
fuse.
A battery lasts about 4 hours, depending on weather conditions (a battery lasts longer in warm
weather than in cold weather). For a longer battery lifespan, make sure to use up the battery
before charging it when using the remote control for the first times. It takes about 1 hour to
charge a battery.
