6.
Pull the Fine Stacker (G) lever and the Screen Box (I) lever down to activate the tracks.
7.
Set the engine throttle to desired travel speed. For long straight distances in clear area, an
engine speed of 2,400 RPM (full throttle) is recommended. For precise positioning, if
frequent turns are required, during loading or unloading on a trailer or moving on a steep
hill, an engine speed between 1,200 and 1,500 RPM is recommended, depending on the
ground conditions (slippery surface, clean surface, narrow path, etc.). The operator is the
one to judge the situation and is responsible to ensure a safe and proper displacement of
the machine at all time.
INSTRUCTIONS!
Never use throttle mid-position during operation.
This could cause improper vibrations or wrong conveyor speed.
8.
If using the wire remote control
, stay at a 5 m (15 feet) distance from the machine.
Always keep the cord tight enough. Do not allow it to lie on the ground. It could get
caught under the tracks. Keep visual contact with the guide during the whole movement.
9.
If using the radio remote control
, move away from the machine (at least 23 m [75 feet]
but no farther than 90 m [300 feet] to remain within the radio signal range).
10.
Make sure that the stop button of the remote is pulled. Turn the key on the remote control.
A buzzer starts as a warning of imminent move of the machine. All functions of the
remote will remain inactive as long as the key has not been activated and the stop button
pulled.
11.
Make sure there are no risks for people on the site.
12.
Make sure the machine destination is safe enough and properly level to avoid getting
obstructed or stuck in the mud.
13.
Move the machine using the remote functions. A pulsating auditory warning signal should
be heard as long as the machine moves.
14.
Once the machine is properly positioned, turn the key on the remote to end the signal
transmission. This prevents a move of the equipment not preceded by a warning buzzer. If
the key is not turned, the remote functions will be automatically deactivated after 5
minutes but the radio signal will still be transmitted, which would quickly use up the
remote battery. Therefore, the key should always be turned off after use. For safety
matters, turning the key shuts the engine off automatically. To continue using the
machine, start the engine over.
15.
Turn the ignition key to off. Put the mode switch in screening mode. Lower the throttle
and start the engine. The engine won’t start if the ignition key is not turned back to off
before restart. Put the Fine Stacker (G) lever and the Screen Box (I) lever in middle
position.
