Carriage motor drive circuit
The carriage motor phase signals CR_1 (pin 22) and CR_2
(pin 21) output from the CPU (U12) are output by the circuit
shown in Figure 2-48 to the printer mechanism carriage
motor as four phase drive signals (CR_A, CR_B, CR_C,
and CR_D).
The CR_HL signal, which controls the hold state of the
motor, is output from the P45 terminal (pin 20) of the CPU
(U12). This signal in combination with the four phase drive
signals controls the operation of the motor according to the
timing chart shown in Figure 2-49.
