Configuring the Administrator Password
When you set the administrator password, you can prevent the users from changing system management settings.
You can change the administrator password using either Web Config, the printer's control panel, or software
(Epson Device Admin). When using the software, see the documentation for each software.
c
Important:
The initial value of the administrator user name is blank (nothing is entered), and the initial value of the
administrator password is the product serial number. Check the product serial number on the label on the printer.
We recommend that you change the initial password as soon as possible to prevent unauthorized access.
