Description
Head Alignment
Select one of the following when print results are grainy or
out of focus:
Manual(Bi-D):
when printing in both directions.
Manual(Dual Head):
if the previous setting does not
improve the results, or if you are printing in one direction.
Manual(Uni-D):
if the previous setting does not improve
the results.
Heating & Drying
Set any of the following:
Heater Temperature:
from 86 to 131 °F (30 to 55 °C);
defaults to 122 °F (50 °C).
Drying Time Per Pass:
from 0.0 to 10.0 seconds. You can
maintain a constant drying time by basing it on the media
width.
After Heater Feed:
feeds media to the after heater after
printing (if the media will be cut before the next job starts).
Blank Area Feed:
speeds up feeding of blank areas, from
Mode 0
(highest speed) to
Mode 3
.
Media Suction
Set from
0
to
10
to increase the gap between the print head
and thin or flexible media. If print quality is reduced or
media does not feed correctly, you may need to lower the
suction.
Head Movement
Selects the range of print head movement:
Data Width:
increases print speed by restricting movement
to the printed area.
Printer Full Width:
provides more even print results.
Multi-Strike Printing
Select the number of times each line is printed, from
2
to
8
(or select
Off
to disable).
Roll Type
Select
Printable Side Out
or
Printable Side In
based on
how the media is rolled.
