Print Head Moves But Nothing Prints
If the print head is moving and nothing prints, try these solutions:
• Print a nozzle check pattern. If the pattern does not print correctly, clean the print head again. (If the
printer has not been used for a long time the nozzles may be clogged.)
• If you see the message
Motor Self Adjustment
on the product's LCD screen, the printer is adjusting
its internal motor. Wait a few moments for the message to disappear and do not turn off the printer.

Media is Creased
If media loaded in your printer is creased, try these solutions:
• Check that the
Feeding Tension
and
Feed Speed
settings on the product control panel are correct
for the currently loaded media.
• If you printed thin media or media lengthened by water absorption at a high density take-up setting,
creases that look like this may appear in the media in the after heater:
Set the
Take-up Tension
setting to
Manual
and decrease the tension values, or print on thicker
media.
