Transporting Your EPSON
STYLUS PHOTO RX

If you need to move your EPSON STYLUS PHOTO RX
some distance, you need to prepare it for
transportation in its original box or one of a similar
size.

1.

Remove all paper from the sheet feeder and make
sure the EPSON STYLUS PHOTO RX is off.

2.

Open the scanner unit and make sure the print
head is in the home position on the right. Secure
the ink cartridge holder to the case with tape as
shown, then close the scanner unit.

3.

Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet,
then disconnect the USB cable from your
computer.

w

Warning:

Be careful not to trap your fingers when closing the scanner unit.

4.

Close the paper support, feeder guard, and output
tray.

5.

Repack the EPSON STYLUS PHOTO RX in the
original box using the protective materials that
came with it.

As you transport the EPSON STYLUS PHOTO RX,
make sure you keep it level. After you move it, remove
the tape securing the print head. If you notice a decline
in print quality, run a cleaning cycle (

&

 page 21) or

align the print head (

page 22).
