Click the Bi-directional adjustment to adjust the Bi-directional printing alignment.
In the following menu, select the suitable print mode which you want to adjust,
and click the “Print” button. Basically, select all printing mode for the 1st
adjustment.

By clicking the “Print” Button in the above menu, following message is displayed.
Set the paper in the ASF by following the message and click the “OK” button to
start the printing for the Bi-directional alignment check pattern.

Select the most aligned pattern number in the printed pattern and input the number
in the following menu.

10. After input the suitable pattern number, click the “Retry” button to return the Bi-
directional check alipattern print menu of Figure 5-15. When the “Print”
button is clicked for the 2nd check pattern printing, following message is
displayed
When the same paper used for 1st check pattern printing is set in the ASF and click
the “OK” button in the following message, printer advances the paper
automatically under the 1st printed pattern and the 2nd check pattern is printed
from the position.

11. Repeated Step 7) to Step 10) to adjust the Bi-directional print alignment
completely.
If you exit this Bi-directional print alignment program, click the “Finish” button
on the above Figure 5-17 or Click the “Menu” button.

P O I N T
The current setting is printed at the center of the 5kinds of the Bi-d
adjustment pattern. So, check the center pattern and select the
most aligned pattern number.
