Consult your dealer. After problems are clear, unplug the scanner
and USB connector, and then plug them back in.
Operating Problems
Problems you may have while using the scanner often involve the
operation of your software and computer. Operation problems
usually occur because of:

Incorrect operation of your software (see your software
documentation).
Also see the documentation that came with your computer and
scanner for possible solutions.
The fluorescent lamp does not come on.

Make sure the power cord is connected to the scanner and
plugged into an electrical outlet.
❏
If the scanner does not receive any commands after 15
minutes, it turns off the lamp. The lamp will turn back on
when you scan.
The scanner does not scan.
❏
Wait until the indicator light stays on in green (ready for
scanning).
❏
Try connecting the scanner directly to the computer’s USB
port, or use an EPSON USB cable.
