Summary of the Scanner Commands
Five types of scanner commands are used with EPSON scanners. In
addition, four control codes are used for handshaking. The five
command types are:

Specifies the format of data to be

Sets image modes
Image processing

Specifies any enhancement
processes to be used
Auxiliary

Helps control the scanner
