Precautions on Installation

Note the following precautions when installing the base unit.

Attention

• Do not install the base unit on the top (back side) of the projector installed on

the ceiling.

• Do not install the base unit on the back side of a large display.
• Do not install in a place that exceeds the operating temperature range for the

base unit and the external display equipment.

• To ensure wireless performance, install the base unit in a location where there

are no obstacles between the wireless transmitter and the base unit.

• Do not set up the base unit in places where it might be subjected to vibration or

shock.

Installing the Base Unit on a Wall

When installing the base unit on a wall, use the supplied mount.

a

Check the installing position, and fix the mount to the wall with
commercially available M4 screws (x4).

Attention

• Fix the screws so that they are not slanted with respect to the mounting

surface.

• Make sure that the mount is securely installed.
• Do not fix the mount with double-sided tape or magnets.
