Check the state of the driving belt.

Check the rotation without hard
point of the correlation wheel and of
the motor.

If necessary, change the motor and
adjust the speed to its normal value
with potentiometer P12 on the
motherboard (speed shown on the
control document). It is
recommended to control the
adjustment of the clamp and of the
sampling (cf. Adjustment and
inspection of the motherboard).
–
The rotation detection system is
faltering.
–
Check the J9 and J17 connections.
–
Check the signals at PT9 and PT13
(cf. Checking the optical forks). If
the signals do not correspond,
change the optical fork
(cf. Maintenance sheet).
–
Check the shaping built-in control
signal chopper MC14538 (IC5).
Motor speed
–
The motor speed is not in the
functional range.
–
Check the state of the driving belt.
–
Check the rotation without hard
point of the correlation wheel and of
the motor. If necessary, change the
motor (recommended part for
maintenance).
–
Compare the motor turnover speed
(“Measurement / Synoptic” menu)
with the one shown on the control
document. Adjust it to the nominal
value with potentiometer P12 on the
motherboard. It is recommended to
control the adjustment of the clamp
and setting of the sampling (cf.
Adjustment and inspection of the
motherboard).
