CHECKING THE OPTICAL FORK

“Signal chopper” optical fork
Connect the probe of the oscilloscope to Pt 9 in order to visualize the signal. Its amplitude should
be > 3.800 mV. Otherwise, change the optical fork.
5.3.3
CHECKING THE DETECTOR SIGNAL
Connect the probe of the oscilloscope to Pt 0 order to visualize the signal. Complementary information
is given by the optical fork signal in Pt 9.
The motor speed is adjusted by using the potentiometer P12 and set at an identical value to that
indicated on the data sheet delivered with each analyzer.
In the “Tests / Optical Bench” menu, check the RPM value corresponding to the motor speed signal.
The motor speed signal can also be visualized in the “Measurement/Synoptic” menu.
The detector signal should have a flat part to enable electronic sampling.
