To implement the password protection, specify in the “Security
Option” field of the BIOS Features Setup screen when the
system will prompt for the password. If you want to disable
either password, press the <Enter> key instead of entering a
new password when the “Enter Password” prompt appears. A
message confirms the password has been disabled.

IDE HDD Auto Detection
The “IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION” utility is a very useful
tool specially when you do not know which kind of hard disk
type you are using. You can use this utility to detect the
correct disk type installed in the system automatically. But
now you can set HARD DISK TYPE to Auto in the
STANDARD CMOS SETUP. You don’t need the “IDE HDD
