Mute 

 
1.  After a link is established, you can press Mute (Left) soft 

key to mute the handset microphone. 

 
2.  When mute is active, the other end will not hear your 

voice, but still can speak to you. 

 
3.  To leave the mute state, press “Unmute” (Left) soft key. 
 

Note

: Mute is effective only for the current call.  It is 

automatically turned off after the call is ended. 
 
 

Do Not Disturb (Silent Ring) 

 
1.  Enter the key sequence MENU – Sounds – Ring Volume, 

then select “Off”.  This will turn off the ringer until it is 
turn on again from the menu. 

 
2.  For temporary silencing the ringer when an incoming call 

arrives, press Silent (Left) soft key. 

 
 

Key Guard 

 
1.  To prevent accidental dialing, you can press Menu 

(Right) soft key, then select KeyGuard option.  The 
handset keypad is locked.  No key entry is accepted 
except the power on/off key. 

 
2.  To unlock the keypad, press “Unlock” (Left) soft key, 

then, within 2 seconds, press the digit “1” to unlock. 

 
3.  Key Guard is in effect until unlocked or powered off. 
 
 

Battery Recharge and Replacement

1. 

Charge the battery when one or several of the following 
happen: 

a. 

Phone beeps twice every two seconds. 

b. 

Battery icon is empty. 

c. 

Phone does not respond when a key is pressed. 

d. 

LCD and backlighting become dim. 

e. 

Talk range shortfall is experienced. 

 

2. 

You can replace the handset battery after placing the 
call-in-progress on hold. 

 

3. 

Battery talk time and standby time vary depending on 
the talk/standby pattern and the operating distance.  
Putting the handset back to charger cradle as often as 
possible is recommended for best performance. 

 

Note:

 Use only manufacturer provided batteries and
