8.1.4 Client Router Mode
In Client Router Mode, you can access the Internet wirelessly with the support of a WISP. In
AP Router Mode, the ENH200 can access the Internet via a cable or DSL modem. In this
mode, the ENH200 can be configured to turn off the wireless network name (SSID) broadcast,
so that only stations that have the SSID can be connected. The ENH200 also provides
wireless LAN 64/128/152-bit WEP encryption security, WPA/WPA2, and
WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK authentication, as well as TKIP/AES encryption security. It also
supports VPN pass-through for sensitive data secure transmission.
The following figure shows an example of an ENH200 communicating with a Wireless ISP
(WISP) Access Point in Client Router Mode. The sections that follow the figure below
describe how to configure your ENH200 for Client Router Mode.
