8. INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

In order to extend the service life of the vehicle and ensure safety and comfort, please inspect and maintain your vehicle over time.

If the vehicle is out of use for a long time, it should be inspected.
After the first 300 km, please have the vehicle inspected and maintained if need be.

TAKE CARE WHEN INSPECTING

1 .Choose a level surface and engage the main stand.
2. Inspect the vehicle in a safe location.
3. If there is anything unusual, please do not operate the vehicle until the issues have been resolved.

If the matter is beyond your ability, request an inspection at a service station.

INSPECTION OF OPERATION SYSTEM

1. INSPECT IF THE FRONT FORK IS BENT OR DAMAGED.

Shake the handlebars up and down to inspect if there is any unusual sound due to damage of the front fork.

If this is the case, please refer to a service centre for assistance.
2. INSPECT THE BRAKES.

The battery supplied with this vehicle is a sealed lead-acid battery.

Ensure that the clearance distance for the brake is between 10 and 15 mm. If not, adjust the brake immediately.

If the brake lever is badly worn (more than two-thirds), it should be replaced at once.

NOTE: After adjusting the brakes, ensure that the screws are retightened to avoid

any danger during driving and remember to turn off the ignition and then engage the brakes.

3. INSPECT THE BRAKES.

Drive on a dry, flat surface at low speed, engage the front brake and then the rear brake to ensure they work well.

NOTE:

• Press the brake bar. If it does not work, adjust the distance between the brake shoes and the rim.
• In rainy and snowy weather, increase the braking distance.

If there are no special tools and measuring devices available, go to a service station to inspect and replace them if need be.

Do not dismantle if you are unfamiliar with the construction, or damage could result.
4. INSPECTION OF TIRES

Inspect the tires using a gauge when they are cool.

NOTE: Abnormal tire pressure, cracking, damage or unusual abrasion etc. may cause the tires to burst.

The vehicle runs on road, so cobblestone, glass, nails may cause damage.

    Please take care when driving.

Inspect the tires regularly to check for foreign bodies or unusual damage if the vehicle has been out of use for a long time.
