MOTO M3
B. FRONT WHEEL WITH DISK BREAK
Before installing the front wheel, gently take apart the break disk pads using
a wide flat screwdriver (the wheel disk will squeeze between the pads).
Push the black cap on the speedometer against the wheel and position
it in a way that the axle bolt can go through it.
Tighten the nut firmly on the opposite side.
STORAGE BOX
Locate the storage box and the hardware needed to mount
it on the back of the Moto M3. Mount the bike rack using the bolts
and nuts in the package. Install the box on the top of the rack
using the metal subplate and bolts.
REARVIEW MIRRORS
Connect the three wires on the mirrors to the same colored wires in the mirror holes.
Use a hexagonal "Allen" or "Hex" wrench to attach the mirrors as shown in the pictures.
Make sure to use the spacer underneath the mirror.
Then screw the bolt onto the threaded ends, as shown on picture below.
When sat on the Moto M3, you can adjust the mirrors
by pushing the mirror surface up, down, left and right.
The mirror must be fully tightened.
Repeat the process for the other mirror.
Adjust the mirrors before you leave to ensure
you can see behind you.
BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE OPERATING YOUR MOTO M3 FOR THE FIRST TIME, CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR 8-12 HOURS
(NO MORE THAN 18 HOURS).
Charge the Moto M3 after each use to help extend the battery life. Do not use the Moto M3 while the power indicator on the instrument
panel shows low energy. If the Moto M3 is over-used, the battery life will be reduced. The Moto M3 has a 48V (volt) battery pack.
To charge the battery, connect the 3-pin plug into the charging receptacle located directly below the front seat. If you notice anything
unusual such as a cracked or leaking battery case, a battery that gets hot while being used or charged, a battery case that appears
"puffy" or "bloated" etc., please contact your local dealer. The battery is sealed and can NOT be serviced by the user. Do not attempt
to repair, remove, adjust or alter any internal or electrical components, controls or wiring without speaking to a customer service
representative.
This is how the mirrors should
look when they are mounted.
The main battery weighs approximately forty-eight (48) pounds. There is no need to remove it from the Moto
M3 unless you are replacing it. Take caution when removing the battery. To replace the main battery pack, lift
the foot mat and unlock the lock on the left side of the Moto M3 (using the ignition key). Pull the battery out
using the handle. Disconnect the battery cable. The Moto M3 is equipped with a 48V battery charger that will
interrupt the charging process once the battery is sufficiently charged. You should not charge the battery for
longer than 18 hours to prevent any unnecessary wear on the battery or charger. Charging for longer than
18 hours may reduce the overall life expectancy and efficiency of the battery.
