Disassembling pump P5
1.
Depressurize the water supply.
2.
Switch off the power supply and
afterwards
disconnect the plug of pump P5 from the pump
control system.
3.
Switch the power supply back on again (the furnace should not cool down).
4.
Release the upper and lower hose connection on the pump.
5.
Release the four outer screws on the pump adapter.
6.
Remove the pump with the adapter from the mounting plate.
7.
Release the four inner screws that hold the pump head.
8.
Carefully remove the pump head from the ceramic piston. If the pump head blocks, turn the
pump head around its axis in its locking position on the mounting plate.
9.
Remove the seals.
10. Unscrew the swash plate and remove the ceramic piston from the swash plate bushing.
Cleaning pump P5
1.
Use an acid to clean any mineral deposits from the sliding surfaces of the ceramic.
2.
Rinse off the acid.
3.
Use a synthetic sponge to remove any stubborn deposits on the ceramic piston. The pump is
clean if you can insert the ceramic piston into the pump head and rotate it 360° without any
resistance.
Assembling pump P5
1.
Fit the seal retaining ring (item 3) over the ceramic piston. The side pointing towards the
crosspin on the piston must fit into the U-shaped metal part.
2.
Fit the mounting sleeve (included in the "maintenance tool kit") on the ceramic piston (item 4).
3.
Fit the "O-ring with the sliding seal" (item 2) and the silicone ring (item 1) on the mounting
sleeve. The O-ring points to the pump head.
4.
Fit the parts on the ceramic piston.
5.
Remove the mounting sleeve.
6.
Insert the crosspin of the ceramic piston into the bushing of the rotary swash plate (item 5).
7.
Carefully push the pump head onto the ceramic piston.
8.
Once the pump head is in the end position (seal retaining ring is firmly seated in the recess of
the pump metal), loosely fasten the pump head with the four inner screws.
9.
Before tightening the screws in a diagonally opposite sequence, make sure that the ceramic
piston moves smoothly and is unimpeded.
10. Insert the pump into the mounting plate and secure the adapter with the four outer screw
connections.
11. Reconnect the hose connections to the pump head.
12. Switch the water supply back on.
13. Switch off the power supply and
afterwards
plug the pump plug into the pump control
system.
14. Switch the power supply back on.
The analyzer is automatically in measuring mode.
