OPERATION MODE
Use this function to select the operation mode for the simulation.
There are two freely adjustable flow signals of –12.5 m/s to +12.5 m/s and the assigned
duration of simulation is 1 second to 999 seconds.
Options:
CONTINUOUS
The flow behavior in the process has low dynamics.

Q1 = Simulation value 1
STEP
The flow rates in the process are very dynamic and change very quickly. This operation
mode is also suitable for the simulation of flows outside the tolerance limits (fault
simulation). Here very dynamic or disrupted conditions can also be simulated.

T2 = Duration of simulation 2

Note!
• The CORRECTED VOLUME FLOW option is only available if the FIXED STANDARD
DENSITY option was selected in the CORRECTED VOLUME CALCULATION
function in the tested device.
• For the simulation of corrected volume flow, the system uses the values specified by
the flowmeter in the STANDARD DENSITY and UNIT STANDARD DENSITY
functions.
