Main features – main unit
A FOUR-LINE DISPLAY
– Displays different weather forecast icons with pressure trends, indoor/ outdoor
temperatures, time/ time zone and calendar/ alarm time.
B MODE BUTTON
– Allows toggling between four different clock modes – 1) time with seconds,
2) time with the day of the week, 3) time zone with the day of the week and 4)
time zone with seconds.
– 1) Time with seconds and 2) time with the day of the week modes: when
pressed and held, sets language of the day of the week, year digit, month digit,
date digit, calendar format, hour format, hour digit and minute digit.
– 3) Time zone with the day of the week and 4) time zone with seconds modes:
when pressed and held, enter offset hours to the current time.
C MEMORY [MEM] BUTTON
– Recalls the minimum or maximum temperature of main and remote units.
– When depressed and held, clears collected memories.
D ALARM BUTTON
– Displays the alarm time of weekday (W) and single (S) alarms.
– When pressed and held, sets weekday or single alarm time.
– When alarm is on, press once to stop the alarm.

– When depressed and held, activates manual search for radio controlled time

– In programming mode, press once to increase the parameters or hold for 2

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
– Insert batteries for remote units before doing so for the main unit.
– Position the remote unit and main unit within effective transmission range,
which, in usual circumstances, is 20 to 30 meters.
NOTE:
– The effective range is vastly affected by the building materials and where the
main and remote units are positioned.
– Try various set-ups for best result.
– Though the remote units are weather proof, they should be placed away from
direct sunlight, rain or snow.
Battery installation – main unit
1. Open the battery compartment door.
2. Install 2 batteries (UM-3 or “AA” size 1.5V) strictly according to the polarities
shown.
3. Replace the battery compartment door.

1. Remove the screws on the battery compartment.
2. Install 2 batteries (UM-3 or “AA” size 1.5V) strictly according to the polarities
shown.
3. Replace the battery compartment door and secure its screws.

When it is time to replace batteries, the respective low-battery indicator [

to the outdoor temperature will be shown on the main unit’s display.

GETTING STARTED
How to check remote and indoor temperatures
– Remote unit: once batteries are in place, they will start transmitting temperature
readings in every 43 seconds.
– Main unit: after batteries are installed, the indoor temperature reading with the
icon [ ] will be displayed and an initial search for the remote temperature will
be started in 2 minutes. The remote icon will be flashing as below:
– Upon successful reception, the remote temperature will be displayed with a full
icon as below:
– If no readings are received from the remote unit for more than two minutes, “---“
will be displayed as below:
– Check if the remote unit is sounded and secured. You can wait for a little while
or hold DOWN button [
▼
] for 3 seconds to enforce an immediate search.
– If no button is pressed, the main unit will search for the remote signal again in
4 hours automatically.
– If the temperature goes above or below than the temperature measuring range
of the main unit or the remote unit (stated in specification), the display will show
“HHH” or “LLL”.
