9.1 Troubleshooting
If the unit operates incorrectly
• If the unit operates incorrectly due to a thunderstorm or amateur radi
interference, or if it stops or does not respond to the remote controller,
turn off the circuit breaker. Wait for about 3 minutes, and then turn on
the circuit breaker and press the ON/OFF button of the remote controller.
ATTENTION
CONDITION
CAUSES OR CHECK POINTS
The unit does not start re-operation immediately.
This is for protection of the system. After a stop, the unit does not start operation for
approx. 3 minutes.
Steaming (The Unit)
It is caused by defrosting of the unit in heating operation.
The room does not warm up or cool down.
Is the temperature set correctly on the Crono-Th?Is there an open window or door?
Is there enough circulating water?
The sound of flowing water can be heard from the floor or the
radiator.
Bleed the air from the water and load
The pump is running while the unit is stopped.
The circulation pump operates automatically at times in order to prevent scale build-up
on the pipe walls or protection antifreeze
8. OPERATING LOGICS
8.14 Outdoor air temperature sensor
For a correct regulation of the sliding water temperature at the heat pump
it is important that the external air temperature has a significant value.
The heat pump is equipped with the "outdoor air temperature" sensor posi-
tioned on the opposite side to the fan, near the finned pack heat exchanger.
If this positioning is not significant, it is possible to connect another remote
probe to the unit.
It is necessary:
− buy the accessory (external air temperature probe
cod.07245230)
− connect the probe to terminals 1 and 2 of the "PCB Terminal Block",as
shown in the following figure.
− move the "SW5" switch of the "PCB Terminal Block" from 1 to 2
Note:
The maximum distance for installing the outdoor air sensor is 20 m
