SUSPENSION - SAG (cont.)
Step 3: Measure the distance from the new O-ring
position to the seal on the fork and shock (distance
moved). This is the current sag measurment.
&
The chart provided shows the sag percent relative to the
measured amount in 5% increments. For the Haste, a
recommended starting point for the Fork is
25%
and
20%
for the Shock.
Note:
For Air Suspension, Increase Sag by reducing air
pressure. Decrease Sag by increasing air pressure. We
recommend adjusting in 5psi and 10psi increments for the
Fork and Shock respectively.
Note:
For coil springs shocks, turn the large preload nut
that touches the spring in to adjust the sag. An incorrect
spring is indicated if 30% sag cannot be achieved.
Typically 1 full turn is the minimum requirement once the
preload nut contacts the spring. Refer to the shocks OEM
Manual found on our website for minimum and maximum
preload nut adjustments.
Step 4: Repeat the process until you are able to get the
recommended starting sag amount.
