Preparing Virtual Disks to Receive Data
9. If you want to mount all volumes now, from the
Select an Action
menu, select
Mount all volumes
.
If you want to mount some, but not all, volumes now, press
ESC
repeatedly until the
Configuration Options
menu appears. Then
exit the
NWCONFIG
utility. At the NetWare server command
prompt, for each volume you want to mount, enter a
mount
command in the form:
mount
volume_name
where
volume_name
is the name you specified in step 4a.
The server can now write to and read from the volumes.

Create NetWare NSS Partitions on Virtual Disks
1. At the NetWare server command prompt, enter this command:
NWCONFIG
2. From the
Configuration Options
menu, follow the path:
NSS Disk Options > Storage
3. From the
Available NSS Storage Options
menu, select
Update
Provider Information
and then select
MMPRV-NSS Media
Manager Provider
.
4. Press any key to continue.
5. From the
Available NSS Storage Options
menu, select
Assign
Ownership
.
6. From the
NSS
menu, select a storage deposit (free space) for the
NSS partition.
7. Enter a size for the partition, or accept the default.
8. Select
Yes
to confirm your choice.
