Detecting a failed PSU
Follow this procedure to detect a failed power supplu unit (PSU) from the VxRail Manager user interface.
Procedure

In VxRail Manager click
HEALTH
. The
Health
window is displayed.

Click
Physical
. The
Physical
tab is displayed.

Click an appliance or the magnifying glass icon next to it. The
Front View
and
Back View
of the
appliance are displayed.
4
Click a
PSU
in the
Back View
. The
Power Supply Information
panel is displayed for that node.
The failed PSU is highlighted in red in the
Back View
of the appliance.
Identify a faulted power supply unit
The appliance has two modular power supply units, which are accessible from the rear of the appliance.
1. Power supply unit (PSU1)
2. Power supply unit (PSU2)
