Initialize the storage system
5. Use the completed CDL configuration planning worksheet from the step
, and enter the following information for the
storage-system management ports:
The storage-system name cannot exceed 32 characters. For example, if the IP address of SP A
is 192.188.121.185, you can enter a name, 4106spA_121_185.
Click Next when you finish.
6. Initialize security by specifying the following information:
IMPORTANT
Make sure you enter the username and password exactly as
specified below. Otherwise, the storage system will not function correctly.
User name: cdlsupport,
Password: wabisabi
Confirm the password, and click Next.
7. A summary of the storage-system network settings appears.
If the settings are correct, click Finish. The storage system reboots.
8. A message appears indicating that the storage system has initialized successfully.
Click OK.
