CX700 Hardware Reference

About the CX700

Storage Processor
Enclosure

The enclosure is a sheet-metal housing with a front panel, a
midplane, front bezel, two SPs, two power supplies, and three fan
modules.

Figures 1-2, 1-3, and 1-4 show the CX700 components. Details on each
component follow the figures. If the enclosure provides slots for two
identical components, the component in slot A is called

component-name

A. The second component is called

component-name

B, as shown in the illustrations.

For increased clarity, the following figures depict the CX700 outside of the
rack cabinet. Your SPE may be installed in a rackmount cabinet as shown in
Figure 1-1.
