by system administrators and other qualified technical personnel
during installation, setup, and maintenance of the CX700 system.
Readers of this guide are expected to be familiar with basic computer
hardware installation and field-replaceable unit (FRU) installation.
How This Manual Is Organized

Introduces the CX700 components.
Chapter 2
Explains how to cable a CX700 system to the
server, to disk-array enclosures (DAEs), and to
SPS units.
Chapter 3
Describes how to replace FRUs such as power
supplies, storage processors, and fans.
Chapter 4
Explains how to use a 1000-watt SPS.
