Carefully mark buttonhole length on fabric.
Place the fabric under the foot with the buttonhole
marking running toward you.

Move the slider (A) toward you so that the top mark (C)
on the slider meets the start mark (B). Line up the
markings on the foot with the top mark on the fabric.
NOTE:
The scale on the slider is engraved in centimeters.

Muovere il corsoio (A) verso l’utente in modo che il segno
superiore (C) sul corsoio corrisponda al segno di
partenza (B). Allineare i segni sul piedino al segno
superiore del tessuto. Abbassare il piedino.
NOTA:
Le tacche sul corsoio sono indicate in centimetri.

Impostare la manopola selettore di motivi su “ ”. Cucire
in avanti finché si raggiunge il contrassegno anteriore
dell’occhiello.
Fermare la cucitura ad un punto a sinistra.

Impostare la manopola selettore di motivi su “ ”.
Cucire 5 punti. Fermare la cucitura ad un punto a destra.

Impostare la manopola selettore di motivi su “ ”.
Cucire finché si raggiunge il contrassegno posteriore
dell’ochiello.
Fermare la cucitura ad un punto a destra.

Impostare la manopola selettore di motivi su “ ”.
Cucire 5 punti e sollevare l’ago dal tessuto.
Impostare il comando della lunghezza del punto su “0” e il
selettore di motivi su cucitura diritta.
Cucire alcuni punti di chiusura.

Togliere il tessuto dalla macchina e tagliare il filo di
cucitura. Inserire uno spillo nella travetta. Quindi tagliare
l’apertura con il taglia asole.
Fare attenzione a non tagliare i punti.

To adjust buttonhole stitch density
Stitch density of buttonhole sewing should be adjusted within
the range 0.5 to 1.0 on the stitch length dial.

Set the pattern selector dial at “ ”.
Sew forward until you reach the front marking of your
buttonhole.
Stop sewing at a left stitch.

Set the pattern selector dial at “ ”.
Sew 5 stitches. Stop sewing at a right stitch.

Set the pattern selector dial at “ ”.
Sew until you reach the back marking of the buttonhole.
Stop sewing at a right stitch.

Set the pattern selector dial at “ ”.
Sew a few bartacks and raise the needle from the fabric.
Set the pattern selector dial at a straight stitch.

Raise the foot and remove the fabric.
Cut both needle and bobbin threads leaving about 4"
(10 cm) thread ends.
Draw the needle thread to wrong side of fabric by
pulling the bobbin thread. Then, knot the threads.
Insert a pin inside the bartack. Then cut the opening
with seam ripper.
Be careful not to cut the stitches.
