5.12.7 Connecting the cable for KP SERVICE keypad
It is possible to connect a keypad directly to the control panel (SERVICE connector) without using the bus outputs. The purpose is to
be able to program the control panel more easily, without having to use one of the keypads already installed elsewhere. To co nnect a
keypad directly from the control panel to the SERVICE connector, connect the special cable as illustrated in the figure:

IMPORTANT!
By using the Service keypad, the max number of keypads which can be used in the system is decreased by
one unit: it becomes 3 in the MP500/4N control panel, 7 in the MP500/8 and MP500/16 control panels.
5.12.8 Connecting the telephone dialler
The connection of the MP500/4N, MP500/8, or MP500/16 control panels to the telephone line is obligatory in order to conform to
standard EN50131. Grade 3 and Grade 2.
In order to conform to standard EN50131 Grade 3, it is necessary to use an external dialler, like the ATS4, which is certified EN50131
Grade 3.
In order to conform to standard EN50131 Grade 2, it is necessary to use a dialler like the ATS2. The PSTN dialler in the control panel
(ILT500-N) is an ATS2.
