Stage 2: Heating cable’s
installation
Place in turn the following on the levelled subfloor
or concrete underlay:
• thermal insulation layer,
•
PE foil.
Before commencing the layout of the selected
heating cable:
• calculate the required distancing of the heat-
ing cable,

S – floor surface area, for the floor heated
with the heating cable
L – heating cable’s length
P – floor surface perimeter, for the floor
heated with the heating cable

• Place the ELEKTRA TME installation tape (to
secure the heating cable) with the spacing of
40 cm.
• Position the heating cable, starting from the
power supply conductor’s end, ensuring that
the power supply conductor will freely reach
the installation box.

Note:
The floor sensor should be positioned centrally
between the heating cables.

Note:
In case of planned delay in connection of the
heating cable to the electrical installation, seal the
power supply cable of the heating cable against
the possibility of internal moisture penetration
using a protective cap placed on the conduit or
a heat shrinkable end cap.
