ELECTRICAL
REQUIREMENTS
Electric a l w irin g a nd connections should be ma de by q u a li f ied
electrici a ns a nd in a ccord a nce w ith loc a l electric a l codes a nd
re g ul a tions. The a ir conditioner units m ust be g rounded.
The a ir conditioner unit m ust be connected to a n a de q u a te po w er
outlet f ro m a sep a r a te br a nch circuit protected by a ti m e del a y
circuit bre ak er, a s speci f ied on unit's n am epl a te.
V olt ag e should not v a ry beyond 10% o f the r a ted volt ag e.

INSTALLATION OF
THE INDOOR UNIT
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE
FRONT PANEL
1. Open the f ront p a nel.
2 . Pl a ce the hori z ont a l de f lection louvers in a hori z ont a l position.
3. Open the scre w c a ps on the p a nel f ront.
4. Unscre w the scre w s to rele a se the f ront p a nel.
5. Re m ove the f ront p a nel by li f tin g it in the direction indic a ted
by a rro w s.
6 . Af ter inst a ll a tion o f the indoor unit, reinst a ll the f ront p a nel. Pl a ce
the top end o f the p a nel onto the top end o f the indoor unit, press
on the upper p a rt o f the p a nel, a nd a t the s am e ti m e push the
botto m to wa rd the indoor unit.

REFRIGERATION TUBE ROUTING

2 . For route ( 6 ), cut the botto m notch in the re a r.
3. For routes (5) or ( 7 ), cut the side notches in the re a r a nd in the f ront
p a nel.

f our holes to a cco mm od a te the do w els.
4. Mount the m ountin g pl a te on to the wa ll by the f our scre w s. Ensure
scre w s a re ti g htened properly.
