4.5.7 Credit Card Payment via EFT Terminal
The Euro-2500T cash register can be used as the source of ON-LINE sale information connected to the EFT
terminal. This function enables transmission of the sale data to the EFT terminal immediately after each
purchase is completed by pressing the
key.
The Euro-2500T cash register has implemented communication of the Bull EFT terminal. The EFT terminal
is connected to the cash register via Payment terminal connector. The cash register is able to communicate
with the EFT terminal when setting the fifth digit of the fifth system flag to 1 (5. system flag, 5. digit = 1)
Credit Card payment via EFT Terminal
In R or T mode after pressing a
key, the cash register checks if the EFT terminal is connected to its
Payment terminal connector. If the EFT terminal is connected, the display shows the current communica-
tion status and the ECR waits for the reply form the terminal.
4.5.5 Split-pricing PLU entry
The cash register can be preprogrammed for registration of a split price. Use
this function when a customer wants to purchase more or less than the base
quantity of a loose item.
Example: The price is determined for a packet of 5 pieces of the same goods (e.g.
a box of cheese) at the price of 15,60Sk. The customer buys only 3 pieces. Thus,
he is to pay three fifths of the unit price of the whole box (5 pieces).
Note: The function must be preprogrammed (The system flag No.2, digit No.6=0).
