Screen Cleaning Information
Cleaning Your VIA!2
®
To clean your VIA!2-8.4 Touch Panel it is best to place the touch panel in
Standby mode, so that you don’t make any unwanted button presses.
What to Use:
If dirt or fingerprints are still present, spray a non-abrasive very mild or
highly diluted glass cleaning solution on to a damp cloth and re-clean. Do
not spray directly on the panel screen. Use of strong chemicals and/or
some cleaning agents may discolor the polyester film that makes up the
touch screen.
Use a soft dry cloth to remove any dirt. Use a lightly dampened cloth to
wipe the screen and face of the panel. If dirt or fingerprints are still
present, spray a non-abrasive very mild or highly diluted glass cleaning
solution on to a damp cloth and re-clean.
Do not spray directly on the panel screen. Use of strong chemicals and/or
some cleaning agents may discolor the polyester film that makes up the
touch screen. If further cleaning is necessary, ELAN recommends using a
diluted detergent solution or mild cleaner such as, Windex
®
Glass Cleaner,
Formula 409
®
Cleaner or Mr. Clean
®
Detergent.
