Message Bar
The table below provides a description of the system status symbols and
descriptions found in the Message Bar on the VIA!2-8.4 Wireless Touch
Panel.
Table 1-5: Message Bar System Status Symbols
Status Symbol Description
Audio detected
Audio detected/source is being shared in another
zone
Audio not detected
Zone is in Mute
Zone is in Do-Not-Disturb. (no door chimes or
paging allowed)
ELAN system is ON
ELAN system is OFF
All the zones in the house are grouped to a single
source you
When pressed, returns to the last selected source
on the VIA!2-8.4 panel
Message occurs when the communication link
between the VIA!2-8.4 Touch Panel and VIA!2-SS1
System Station is lost. Moving back into the wire-
less coverage area will re-establish the communi-
cation link
Indicates loss of communication with the SC4
System Controller
Indicates that the VIA!TOOLS program download
between the VIA!2-8.4 and VIA!2-SS1 System Sta-
tion do not match.
