Generally, electrical systems can heat up if in constant use. For this reason, the handpiece and the attachment should be
allowed to cool for at least 60 seconds. After a certain amount of cycles (defi ned in the above table under “Cycles”), the
handpiece and attachment should be allowed to cool for 30 minutes. If this is observed, the system will be prevented from
overheating and possibly harming the patient or user. The user is responsible for the application and for turning off the
system as prescribed. If longer periods of constant use are required, an additional handpiece and / or attachment should be
used.
Depending on the cutting tool used and on the load applied, the heat generation of the handpiece, attachment and / or cutting
tool can vary. Always control the temperature of the system to prevent overheating and possibly harming the patient or user.
