Downloading Stored Data
The data that is stored in the digital tachograph can be
downloaded using a suitable external device.
Downloading Stored Data
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Make sure your control card is inserted in one of the
card slots. The second card slot must be empty or
contain a driver card.
3. Open the cover of the interface at the front of the
device.
4. Connect the external device to the interface.
5. For more information on how to download the stored
data, see the guide for the external device.
6. While data is being downloaded from the digital
tachograph, a flashing twin arrow is displayed .
Note
If you insert a control card into a card reader slot during a down-
load, the card will only be read by EFAS, after the download has
completed.
Note
Do not disconnect the data connection to the digital tachograph
before the download is complete.
6.5
Withdrawing the Control Card
Withdraw the control card from the digital tachograph when
the card is no longer needed there. This prevents any mis-
use.
Withdrawing the Control Card
1. Press keys

or
2
for longer than 1.5 seconds to with-
draw the card either from slot 1 or 2.
The card will be ejected.
