INSTALLATION GUIDE

INSTALLATION

TILE HOOK SUB-FLASHING INSTALLATION

1.  EcoFasten recommends following the 

TRI guidelines three-course sealing 
method. Start the three-course sealing 
method by applying a layer of roofing 
mastic over the edges of the tile hook 
sub-flashing. 

2.  Place strips of reinforcing fabric over 

mastic to cover approximately 2" from 
the edge of the sub-flashing in both 
directions. Place strips on the side first, 
then the top edge. 

3.  Apply a final layer of mastic to 

completely cover the reinforcing fabric. 
The flashing is now installed and sealed.
