Defrost termination
Defrosting can be terminated by two methods:
•
Defrost termination temperature obtained on corresponding temperature sensor
•
Expiration of safe defrost time
Defrosting is always terminated by the safe defrost time when the defrost termination temperature is set to ”--”,
in which case no ”Defrost Termination By Time” alarm is entered in the message log.
5.3.3 Monitoring
Maximum 10 independent refrigeration points can be monitored with the UA 410 L. High and low temperature
can be set for each temperature sensor. A time delay and priority can also be set for each sensor. The sensor
delay (Menu 2) starts when the temperature measured lies above or below the alarm threshold.
Alarm is generated with the set sensor priority at the end of the set sensor delay. For the priorities 1..2, the horn
is activated at at alarm server (e.g. system centre) and the alarm is registered in the alarm list with CAN bus
address (node number), priority and plain text.
Priority ”0” alarms are only entered in the alarm log. Priority ”-” alarms are neither reported to the alarm server
nor entered in the message log.
Alarm can be suppressed for a group of five sensors by means of the digital inputs. Digital Input D21/22 can be
used to suppress temperature alarms for sensors 1-5 and Digital Input D31/D32 to suppress temperature
alarms for sensors 6-10.
Due to the alarm suppression, entries in the alarm lists (internal / external) in the system centre / store
computer) and the setting of the alarm relay are suppressed.
Individual setting of high and low temperature, delay and priority can be made for each of the 10
sensors.
Alarms may be lost when priority is set to 0 or ”--”. Priority and delay apply only to ”High Temperature”
and ”Low Temperature” alarms. Global priority (Menu 6-1) applies to all other alarms.
If alarms are pending during the activation of the alarm suppression, alarms already entered in the
alarm list are not deleted. Sensor break alarms and other alarms cannot be suppressed through the
digital inputs.
