4.4 The Track Border
The track border is a path the robot follows when
returning to a charging station.
The minimum width is 2.5 ft. (0.8m), the maximum
width is 10 ft. (3.0 m).
The robot randomly chooses a value between the
minimum and maximum width to avoid tracking.
If the robot encounters an obstacle on the track border
it will:

back up
•
turn around the obstacle with a 6 ft. (1.5 m)
arcing radius
•
find the track border and continue moving along
it
