5.2 SD card
The slot for the SD card is on the side of the XV300 unit.
CAUTION
DATA LOSS
If the SD card is being written to and a voltage drop occurs or the card is
removed, data may be lost or the SD card may be ruined.
Insert the SD card only when the XV300 is de-energized.
Avoid writing to SD cards. Reasons:
l
SD cards have a limited number of write cycles.
l
If there is a voltage drop while a write operation is in progress, data loss is highly
likely to occur.
Remove the SD card only when the XV300 is de-energized.
Before switching off the device, make sure that there are no programs writing
to the SD card.
Inserting the SD card
SD cards cannot be inserted the wrong way around.
Do not use force when inserting the card.
Push the SD card into the SD card slot until you feel it lock into place.
Removing the SD card
Push the SD card into the SD card slot all the way to the stop.
Pull the SD card out of the SD card slot.
Store the SD card in its case in order to protect it.
