PACKAGING AND TRANSPORTATION OF THE DEVICE
8.1
PACKAGING AND TRANSPORTATION OF THE UNIT
To transport the unit over longer distances, it is advisable to place it on a Europallet
(80 x 120 cm) using wood blocks and screws to fix it in place.
Lock the seat and back in an appropriate position (depending on the dimensions of
the means of transport).
Lift the device with an appropriate mean and place it on a pallet, remove the caps
that cover the fixing holes on the inferiors base plates and block the device on the
pallet with 4 bolt M10 of suitable length equipped with large washers and nuts.
Protect the most exposed parts with expanded foam and cardboard, then wrap semi-
adhesive film around the whole assembly.
The other parts of the machine can be packaged in a similar manner or placed in boxes.
8.2
ENVIRONMENTAL AND CONDITION FOR TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
Environment Temperature: [-10 ÷ + 50] °C
Relative Humidity: [30 ÷ 75] %
Atmospheric Pressure: [700 ÷ 1060] mbar
9.
DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT AT THE END OF ITS LIFECYCLE
The disposal of the unit generally consists in simply replacing it and in returning the old
one to the manufacturer for disposal.
If this is not feasible, it is necessary to dispose of the unit in accordance with current
law provisions concerning electric and electronic equipment (Directive WEEE
2012/19/UE).
Please remember that the only part that requires special considerations in terms of
disposal is the liquid of the hydraulic actuator (gear oil "Transmission fluid DX" by Agip
Petroli S.p.A.), which is like the lubricating oil of a vehicle.
In this case, it is necessary to make sure that the person who collects the unit is aware
of the content and able to dispose of it accordingly.
