Flexion / Extension
In the following, when we speak about a general movement (without specifying the limb)
we will refer to the muscles and movements of the knee, so it is called
flexion/extension.
Selection of the LIMB - Move the mouse over the figure of the human body and click the
desired limb.
Setting the ANGLE
–
This phase is used to calibrate the encoder. Position the patient
correctly (as instructions in section 4.3.1), attaching the lever to the ankle using the
system provided. Fully extend the leg and press the 0° button to save the position.
Eventually it is possible to do the same thing for 90° (bent leg). It is advisable to set the
parameters when the leg is extended (0°), unless the therapist judges that it is
impossible.
Number of repetitions
–
Move the cursor until the desired number displays and move
the mouse to the right or left in increments of units for a fine adjustment.
Extension/flexion speed - Set the desired value by moving the cursor. Move the cursor
to the right or left in increments of units for a fine adjustment.
SYNCRO
–
The extension/flexion values will be the same.
To move to the next step, select COMPENSATION
.
5.4.2
Gravity compensation
This operation compensates the weight of the lever and limb being treated and ensures
that the results are accurate.
To access to the gravity compensation window from the limit settings screen, press the
BACK arrow and thus return to the main screen of the concentric exercise. From here it
is possible to access the COMPENSATION tab through the relative button. This will open
the following window:
