Isometric Test Report
An isometric test generally includes four exercises:
•
Two exercises that have to be performed first (extension and flexion) with the
healthy limb
•
Two exercises that have to be performed immediately after the first ones
(extension and flexion) with the sick limb
The isometric test must be performed at a specific angle, which can be selected
manually as explained above. After this operation, it is necessary to select the
desired type of test.
As shown in the following figure, there are 4 types of tests:
•
4Fasi_DxExt
First exercise = Extension of the right limb
•
4Fasi_DxFlx
First exercise = Flexion of the right limb
•
4Fasi_SxExt
First exercise = Extension of the left limb
•
4Fasi_SxFlx
First exercise = Flexion of the left limb
The 4 selected exercises will be performed in sequence, taking into account the
required pauses and the time required to change the limb.
The final operation consists in opening the Database table and selecting one of the
tests performed in order to view it or print the report.
