Important
All the old HEATSINK COMPOUND must be removed for correct contact.
[7] Clean the old HEATSINK COMPOUND from inside the ELECTRICAL BOX.
[8] Apply a thin layer of the new HEATSINK COMPOUND to the surface of the new QUAD POWER SUPPLY.
Make sure the surface is covered with the COMPOUND.
[9] Install:
• new QUAD POWER SUPPLY in the ELECTRICAL BOX
• CONNECTOR J10 to the QUAD POWER SUPPLY
Note
Do not install CONNECTOR J9 at this time.
Installing the New 120 V AC WIRES Outside of the ELECTRICAL BOX
[1] Locate the following COMPONENTS outside of
the ELECTRICAL BOX:
• TERMINAL BLOCK TB3, rotate the
ELECTRICAL BOX to see the
TERMINAL BLOCK
• CONNECTOR J2
(See illustration on Page 3.)
[2] Disconnect J2 from the outside of the
ELECTRICAL BOX.
[3] Loosen the SCREWS for the STRAIN RELIEF
on CONNECTOR J2.
[4] Rotate the BODY of the CONNECTOR to
disassemble.
[5] Slide the STRAIN RELIEF backward to have
access to the WIRE TERMINALS.
[6] Install the new WIRE No. 14 on TERMINAL 4 of
TERMINAL BLOCK TB3.
Important
Press the SOCKET TERMINALS into CONNECTOR J2. The TERMINALS should snap into position.
[7] Feed the SOCKET TERMINAL END of WIRE No. 14 through the STRAIN RELIEF.
[8] Insert the SOCKET TERMINAL END of WIRE No. 14 into position 2 of CONNECTOR J2.
[9] Install the new WIRE No. 13 on TERMINAL 8 of TERMINAL BLOCK TB3
[10] Feed the SOCKET TERMINAL END of WIRE No. 13 through the STRAIN RELIEF.
[11] Insert the SOCKET TERMINAL END of WIRE No. 13 into one of the following positions:
