5.2  Part Replacement 

 

5.2.1  Replacement of Light Source Lamp 

 
 

 
 

The following shows how to replace the existing lamp with a new one. 

 

(1)  Turn off the power switch. Pull off the power cord and wait for at least 20 

minutes until the lamp cools down. 

 
(2)  Remove the fastening screw from the side face of the light source cover, 

and then remove the cover. (See Fig. 5-1) 

Cautions on Replacement of Lamp 

 

Do not replace the lamp with the power switch on. Note that high voltage is applied

to the lamp. 

High voltage is discharged while the power is turned off. 

 

Wait for at least 10 minutes after the power switch is turned on. 

 

Wear clean gloves for mounting a new lamp. Do not leave fingerprints on the lamp

tube wall.

 lamp, care should be taken to prevent leaving fingerprints on the protruded

sections.
