7.1.
GENERAL
The goal of this chapter is to introduce to the pilot who has not assembled his helicopter, the
systems of the Dynali H2S. For further information, refer to the assembly manual. However,
we would advise the pilot to read the assembly manual.
7.2.
CABIN SHELL
The Dynali H2S is a single engine two-seater helicopter with a single main rotor, of primarily
metallic construction and equipped with a skid type undercarriage. The highly resistant basic
structure or the cell is made of stainless steel tubes to provide passive safety to the crew.
A part of the tail tube and the strengthening stays are in aluminium. A carbon-kevlar fairing is
installed but is not structural.
The firewall is made of Kevlar and M2F2 fireproof resins
7.3.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The undercarriage is made of aluminium tubes; it is of the energy absorbing type with two
legs on each side (passive safety)
7.4.
MAIN ROTOR
- When still, the blade roots withdraw in their bearings on their spindles to the limit. The
overhanging mass of the blades creates a high level of force on the blade roots.
- The blades are made of composite materials (glass fibre / carbon / aeronautical resin).
- The blades are held by aluminium roots, which incorporate a system for adjusting the
alignment.
- Four stop bearings with oblique contact allow for the varied incidence of the blade when
pitch adjusted.
- The two flanges swing over around the head of the mast on combined bearings.
- The rotor head is of the swing-over type without flapping.
7.5.
REAR TURBINE OR ANTI-TORQUE ROTOR
- The anti-torque rotor has eight blades. It enables for a small diameter which increase
safety.
- The eight blades are made in composite carbon/kevlar, held in split blade sockets.
- The blade sockets are held in smooth plates of Teflon.
- The anti-torque rotor is protected by a tail surround made of carbon.
- The entire construction is designed to provide full protection for the anti-torque rotor.
