running.
Dust emissions from clean air dis-
charge.
Insufficient airflow.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Input power circuit is not operational.
Improper electrical wiring.
Starter overloads are tripped.
Blower rotation is running in reverse.
Hopper discharge is open to
atmosphere.
Ductwork volume control damper is
not properly adjusted.
Filter(s) is not installed properly.
Filter(s) is damaged.
Filter(s) is not seasoned or pre-seeded.
Dust particles are too fine to form

Blower rotation is running in reverse.
Loose or open bolt-on blower
compartment access door.
Open or leaking filter compartment door.
Ductwork volume control damper is
not properly adjusted.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Check input power to motor circuits for
proper voltage on each phase.
Check and correct internal motor wiring
for proper connections based on the
incoming line voltage.
Check for proper motor starter overload
rating against full load amps on the
motor nameplate. Adjust or replace
overloads as required.
Check for proper blower rotation. Swap
motor leads to reverse blower rotation.
Ensure drum is properly sealed against
drum lid package. Ensure drum lid
package is properly installed.
Check motor current draw and close
down dampers until amperage draw is
below full load rating of motor.
Inspect and reinstall cartridge filter(s).
Replace any damaged filters with new

filters. Contact nearest
UAS office.
Follow instructions in Section 6.2 to pre-
seed filters. Some particle bypass
occurs until new filters are seasoned.
Pre-seed filters or reduce manifold pulse
pressure by a 10 lb. (0.7 BAR) incre-
ment.
Check for proper blower rotation. Swap
motor leads to reverse blower rotation.
Remove door and verify the door gasket
is not damaged. Close and turn the
handles to latch door shut.
Open door and verify door gasket is not
damaged. Close and turn the handles
to latch door shut.
Check motor current draw and open
damper(s) until amperage draw is
increased but still below full load rating
of motor.
