When error code J7 is shown on the COUNT display

Open the front cover 2.

Rotate the green knob to drop the book onto the delivery block.
If the book has not dropped, tap the topside of the book.

If “P3” is shown on the COUNT display, remove the book block remaining in
the sub clamp unit. When the book block is removed, the book supply shutter
closes, the indication on the COUNT display blinks, and the equipment enters
the warm-up mode.
4. When a power failure occurs during bookbinding
When a power failure occurs during bookbinding, turn OFF the main switch, and then remove
the power plug from the outlet. When power is restored, insert the plug into the outlet, and then
turn ON the main switch.
As an error code will be displayed after the main switch is turned ON, take the appropriate
measures after referring to the trouble shooting procedures described in sections 1 through 4 in
Chapter 6.
5. When it is not possible to supply power to the
equipment
If power is not supplied to the equipment when the main switch is turned ON, the power plug
may have come out of the outlet or a breaker in the vicinity of the equipment may have been
tripped. After reinserting the power plug into the outlet or turning ON the breaker, turn ON the
main switch again.
If the error recurs even after the corrective measures have been taken,
contact our service engineers.
