2 Safety
2.1 Function of safety notices
Safety notices warn against physical or material damage and provide information on
how such damage can be avoided.
The following signal words identify the degree of danger and the extent of the risk.
DANGER!
The signal word refers to an immediately imminent threat which can
cause death or serious injury.
WARNING!
The signal word refers to a potential threat which can cause death or
serious injury.
CAUTION!
The signal word refers to an potential threat which can cause slight or
mild injury.
The following safety signs are used in these instructions for use:
WARNING!
Warning of a hazard.
NOTICE!
This symbol identifies a situation that can lead to damage to the safety
storage cabinet.
2.2 Correct use
The safety storage cabinet is to be used for the passive storage of flammable liquids in
working areas.
Passive storage is defined as storage in tightly closed containers. The tightness of the
container seal must be guaranteed. Nationally applicable regulations must be observed.
Any other use shall be deemed incorrect.
2.3 Reasonably foreseeable misuse
DÜPERTHAL accepts no liability for damage arising from misuse.
The following constitute misuse:

Storage of living organisms in the safety storage cabinet.

Storage of food in the safety storage cabinet.
